Vanadium is a high melting point rare metal, silver gray, in the form of iron vanadium, vanadium compound and metal vanadium widely used in metallurgy, aerospace, chemical and battery industries. At present, the vanadium is added to steel in the form of iron vanadium and vanadium nitride.
