Description
Equipment Features
Ladle refining furnace (LRF) has the functions of molten steel heating, argon stirring, deoxidation, desulfurization, composition adjustment, wire feeding, temperature measurement, sampling, etc. It can accurately adjust the chemical composition of molten steel, remove non-metallic inclusions, and improve the morphology of non-metallic inclusions.
The ladle refining furnace is bridge mounted. The main equipment consists of ladle, ladle car, furnace cover and furnace cover lifting mechanism, electrode lifting device and its corresponding power system (hydraulic system, cooling water system, argon system and compressed air system), as well as auxiliary equipment such as wire feeding device and electrode extension station.
Process Flow
After the primary smelting furnace has completed molten steel melting and oxidation smelting, the primary molten steel will be lifted to a ladle station of the ladle refining furnace through the molten steel collapse car or crane, connected to the argon gas supply system, and entered the LRF station for treatment. Blow argon throughout the refining process.
The ladle refining furnace cover is lowered, slagging agent is added for submerged arc heating according to treatment process needs, and molten steel is measured and sampled after slagging. According to steel sample analysis and temperature measurement results, molten steel is added after alloy weighing, and the molten steel after precise composition and temperature adjustment is transported to the ladle lifting position by ladle car, which can be lifted to the continuous casting machine (CCM) for casting.
