Customers can commission steel plants tailored to their specific goals and project terms. SME’s design department develops optimized plant layouts, taking into account materials conditions, plant scale, process flows, and multi-specification product lines (such as rebars, wire rods, tubes, and sheets). The project team then oversees engineering construction, quality control, and trial production. High-quality, competitive steel mills can greatly impact the local economy and infrastructure.

Ironmaking - specialized in small to medium size
Steelmaking - melting, refining and casting
- Electric Arc Furnace (EAF): EAF is much more flexible than Basic Oxygen Furnace (BOF) and allows steel to be made totally from scrap metal. Furthermore, it is an environment-friendly solution with significantly lower carbon dioxide emissions than BF + BOF.
- Induction Furnace: Ideal for medium to small sized projects and projects with limited energy. Energy-efficient melting solutions for various metals, ensuring high-quality steel with minimal emissions.
- IF+LOD+LRF:Our advanced setup combines induction furnaces with LOD technology, offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional EAF+LF systems, making the scrap requiements of induction furnace much lower.
- Continuous Casting: Our Continuous Casting Machines (CCM) enhance billet production with improved yield, energy efficiency, and automation, while reducing labor intensity.
Rolling Mill Plant
- Rebar Mill: Can be integrated with wire rod mill. Capacity 50,000 TPA to 1,000,000 TPA.
- Wire Rod Mill: High speed wire rod mill with capacity from 50,000 to 700,000 tons annually. the diameter of final wire rods is Ø5.5mm to Ø16mm.
- Section Mill:Customized mills optimized for diverse section steel products.
- Cold Rolling Mill: Integrated cold rolling mill with cold rolling, pickling, galvanizing and color coating.
- Continuous Galvanizing Line: Cost efficient continuous galvanizing line available for medium to small sized project.
- Strip Mill: Mature and smooth process to produce high quality steel coils.
- Plate Mill: Engineered plate mills for producing steel sheets, bridge plates, ship plates, and more.
Pipe Mill Plant
- Seamless Pipe Production line: Full-range solutions for piercing, elongating, and finish-rolling seamless pipes.
- ERW Pipe Production line: A complete range of Electric resistance welded (ERW) pipes and pipe plants for the production of longitudinally welded pipes and pipes (ERW) from OD 12.7 mm up to 219 mm (1/2” - 10”). Round to square unit available.
