The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs, the State Administration of Taxation and the National Energy Administration, have recently jointly issued a notice to adjust the relevant catalogue of tax policies for the import of major technical equipment. The “Catalogue of Major technical equipment and Products supported by the State for Development (2025 edition)”, “Catalogue of Key Parts and raw Materials for Major Technical Equipment and Products to be Imported (2025 edition)” and “Catalogue of Major Technical equipment and products to be imported without duty exemption (2025 edition)” involved in the notice shall be implemented as of March 1st,2025.
